I've owned a shetland sheep since I was five years old. I joined NASSA as a JR. Member in 2005 and am enrolled in the USDA VSCP - MI09.

Fleece quality comes first in my flock. I feel this heritage breed's history of fine fleeces should continue and don't follow color/pattern "fads" at the expense of fiber quality and correct conformation.

My flock is free of contagious diseases and Scrapie genotyped at Codon 171. DNA testing of any lamb for sale is available for a $15 fee. Photos and fleece samples (side) will be sent promptly to any prospective buyer.

NASSA registered ewes and rams are $150-$250. Pet wethers are available at weaning for $35. Delivery to lower WI and MI is available for $25 per sheep. Buyer pays for an necessary health certificates.
